Realm - Aedertha
Aedertha is described as an endless resort where physical form has no meaning. Where souls spend eternity making love to one another and everyone is their best self. Aedertha is not an extremely populated area compared to the amount of souls within as Aeder is rather selective about his tenets and strict adherence to them.
Aspects
There are many aspects of all the gods, but here are well known aspects relevant in Alvanzia
Inguz
Inguz was the dwarven-given name of Aeder, and in dwarven societies, during an impotence crisis, Inguz lent strength to continue the repopulation of the dwarven race.
Aederella
Aederella is the female representation of Aeder which many women look up to. Scholars do not exactly agree what Aederella is. Some claim that it is a manifestation of Aeder’s lovers in the afterlife in one avatar. Others say that Aederella is an extension of Aeder to promote empathy. Aederella focuses less on the fertility side of the coin and more on the self-care and passion aspects of Aeder.
Tenets
Each god has a set of tenets which define the code they expect their followers to embrace.
Fertility
The main worship of Aeder in the modern age is prayer for fertility. It is said that Aeder fathered hundreds of children while he was a mortal and was able to cure impotence. Many couples trying to get pregnant pray to the Aspect Inguz for guidance of their journey
Passion
People also pray to Aeder to bring passion to their love affairs. Aeder was a teacher of passion and thus many look to the Loving Lord for inspiration in their lives
Self-Betterment (Airma)
Aeder is a representation of one trying to be their best self. Aeder is said to give people the strength to be the person that they want to be and encourages self-care and self-betterment in his teachings. Many individuals trying to become better people for themselves pray to the Aspect Aederella for inspiration. This practice is known by followers as Airma. Airma is a daily reminder to be their best self. It’s ok to have a bad day, but Aeder does not believe people should give up.
Life
Aeder more abstractly is a representation of life. Aeder’s followers believe in the preservation of life at all costs and value the individual above all else. They don’t believe in trading lives and they don’t believe in valor in sacrifice. However, followers recognize the Raven Queen is not an evil being nor the antithesis of Aeder, but rather as a natural part of life. Aeder’s followers do not believe in the perversion of life nor the practices of necromancy generally as they corrupt what it means to be alive. Followers of Aeder know that while their afterlife is an incredible place, to qualify, one must have followed the idea of preservation of life and strove to be their best self.
